Google Sign-In and Google API Services

Cloud Club uses Google OAuth 2.0 ("Sign in with Google") to authenticate users. When you sign in with Google, we receive the following information from your Google account:

  • Your name and email address (to create and identify your account)
  • Your Google profile picture (optional, for display purposes)

We do not receive access to your Google Drive, Gmail inbox, Google Calendar, or any other Google services beyond your basic profile information, unless you separately authorize such access for a specific feature.

Gmail API (internal use only): Cloud Club uses the Gmail API solely to send transactional emails to customers from our own business account (e.g., order confirmations, status updates, reminders). We do not use the Gmail API to access, read, or process any customer's personal Gmail inbox or messages. Our use of this API is strictly limited to sending email on behalf of Cloud Club's own account.

Cloud Club's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We only use Google user data to provide or improve the user-facing features of our platform.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising or to serve ads.
  • We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless you have given us explicit permission, it is necessary for security purposes, or we are required to do so by law.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide our services.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Process and fulfill your catering orders
  • Send transactional emails (order confirmations, status updates, reminders) via Gmail API
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve our services and develop new features

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • FBO terminals and airport facilities for coordination purposes

Authentication tokens from Google are stored securely and never exposed to third parties. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
